Gilcrease Estate - 62 and Older

Gilcreases Estates consists of 80 units and has been designated a 62 and older development. HUD defines a "62 and Older" development as one where at least one person in the occupied units is 62 or older and adheres to a policy that demonstrates an intent to house persons who are 62 or older. Gilcrease Estates adheres to this policy. 

It is against the Fair Housing Rules to discriminate against families in all other developments except housing designated for older persons. See the HUD Policy on this subject. The rural housing office has also provided an information brochure which describes this HUD policy for all of their developments which are designated "62 and older" developments.
